Is it possible to lose 20 kg in a week?

Are you getting frustrated with your excess body fat and you are planning to be in shape in 2019 with such questions in your mind like - How to lose weight fast? or How do I lose weight of 20 Pounds or 10 Kg in a day? or How to drink water to lose weight?

Well, weight gain is such a big issue today and everyone whether you and I or (youth as well as kids) are getting trapped with obesity.
Different body types need different ways to lose weight - with this line I want to make it clear that not every solution work on your body.

  1. Weight loss with the help of liquids.

  • Drink at least (8 to 10) glass of water in a day. You can start your day by drinking 2 glass of lukewarm water. Water helps to remove toxins from your body, making your skin soft and glowing, protect from dehydration and the most important benefit of warm water is to help increase metabolism which reduces your excess body fat.
  • Green Tea is a miracle drink to reduce weight fast and naturally, you should replace regular tea with Green tea (2 cups a day) and see the result within a Month.
  • Include soups, juices to your diet so that you cannot feel weak inside and avoid to have excess food intake.

   2. Weight loss by healthy food.

  • Breakfast is the must for keeping your weight in control. Never miss breakfast meal and choose a portion of healthy food for breakfast.
  • Include boiled eggs (if you can eat) in breakfast to get enough protein.
  • Fruits and dry fruits with a bowl of oats and milk is a full and healthy diet to reduce weight fast.
  • Cracked wheat or dalia can help you to reduce weight as its a very light because of no oil or excess calories and complete food to have in breakfast as well as in lunch.

  3. Weight loss by Exercise?

  • Do Some basic exercises to reduce your weight, including 10-15 minutes for walking, jumping, jogging, running, stairs climbing, swimming in your daily schedule.
  • Choose cardio workout for burning the fat, you can find these workout easy and interesting.
  • Strength Training is extremely important and it must be a part of our daily routine. If you want to strengthen muscles while losing your weight then these exercises can provide you the same.
  • Do strength training at least 2-3 times a week. You will find your weight maintenance for a long time and even when you are not doing any workout.
  • Do planks, Squats, Push-ups, pull-ups, resistance band exercises, ball wall and many more exercises you can find in detail in my previous posts.

Conclusion & Tips :

  • Drink lots and lots of water every day and make it your habit.
  • Never try to avoid or skip your breakfast even if you are in hurry.
  • Replace regular tea with Green Tea or black coffee.

  • Choose a full and healthy meal for your breakfast.
  • Reduce the consumption of sugar and carbs. in your meal.
  • Avoid having junk food for 2-3 months to get a better and fast result.
  • Do exercise cardio or Yoga whatever you find best for you regularly.


  1. I agree with you that we need a regular exercise if we want to lose weight. Even we have a healthy diet if we don't workout, still useless. In my part I'm doing some workouts with my pro bar since I did not recover from injury.
